Telecommunicator CPR (TCPR)
T-CPR Training Is Saving Lives
There are more than 356,000 out-of-hospital cardiac arrests annually in the U.S., nearly 90% of them fatal. A call involving cardiac arrest is one of the few calls where the actions of a telecommunicator plays a direct role in patient survival. Fast recognition of cardiac arrest is essential to patient survival.
- We provide TCPR training to help Telecommunicators learn how to quickly identify cardiac arrest.
- We provide case evaluations so that Telecommunicators can participate in the feedback loop.
- We provide simulations to help Telecommunicators practice and retain what they have learned.
TRAINING COMPONENTS:
- Recognizing cardiac arrest
- Limiting delays in the recognition of cardiac arrest
- Managing delays and barriers to CPR (Patient positioning, refusal, etc)
- Ensuring that high-quality CPR occurs until help takes over
- Addressing additional challenges (DOA/Suspected death, ventilations, etc)
- 4-hour training course in MOE911
CASE REVIEWS
Customized score cards and protocols used according to agency requirements; Case reviews are performed by T-CPR experts and include comprehensive reports, feedback, and training recommendations. Reviews help increase confidence in navigating calls involving cardiac arrest.
SIMULATIONS
One-on-one over-the-phone simulations with a T-CPR subject matter expert. Individuals will receive immediate feedback on performance, and reports that include training recommendations as needed. Our team is highly skilled in stress management activities and coaching. We will customize simulations to meet your needs and help your team increase their confidence when navigating a call involving cardiac arrest.
